Protective training for customer service and retail
Threat Protect Training, part of the Intelligent Monitoring Group, delivers a personal safety program for property management teams in Tasmania, combining theory with practical training to strengthen safety response skills.
Its approach combines threat recognition, verbal de-escalation and realistic scenarios with practical protection skills, focused on personal protection and
safe withdrawal.
Participants practice recognising warning signs, maintaining safe distance and responding calmly when interactions become confrontational.

Security training for Spirit of Tasmania
Spirit of Tasmania engaged Threat Protect Training to deliver a practical, operationally focused training program for its security personnel, tailored to the demands and constraints of the maritime environment.
Delivered across three four-day training sessions, the program focused on strengthening operational readiness, decision-making, communication, teamwork and the ability to respond effectively to challenging and potentially high-risk situations.
Training incorporated practical skills development, scenario-based exercises and pressure testing designed around the realities of working within a confined passenger vessel.
The program was designed to strengthen the security team’s preparedness and capability, supporting the safety of passengers, crew and security personnel while enhancing their ability to manage changing situations effectively.
